John H. Olson, C.P.A.

As founder of the firm, John has expertise in tax planning and financial consulting including medical practice management and retirement planning. His securities and insurance licenses enable him to provide value-added wealth care solutions for his clients. John specializes in the health care industry, computer applications, restaurant operations, and tax planning for the closely-held businesses and family limited partnerships. He graduated from Arizona State University in 1971 and is an Arizona native.

Douglas M. Hatcher, C.P.A.

With over 30 years of experience in accounting, financial consulting, retirement, estate and tax planning, Doug focuses on the health care industry, sales and service companies, and the construction industry. He utilizes his skills as a securities and insurance licensed professional together with his CPA license to provide total wealth care solutions for individuals, their families and their closely-held businesses. Doug graduated from the University of Arizona in 1975 and began his career in public accounting with Olson & Hatcher.

Peter W. Sarata, Jr., C.P.A., C.V.A.

Pete has extensive accounting and taxation experience in various industries, including health care, construction, professional services, and franchise operators. As a Certified Valuation Analyst, he specializes in business valuation, litigation support, and management advisory services. Pete has his securities license to enhance his planning services. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1979 and began his public accounting career. In 1982, he joined the team at Olson & Hatcher.

David L. Benecke, C.P.A.

Dave joined Olson & Hatcher in 1987 to head our pension department. He has expertise in accounting, taxation, and financial consulting for closely-held businesses, with particular emphasis on qualified retirement plans. Dave is securities and insurance licensed. He is an Arizona State University graduate and has over 26 years of experience in public accounting.

Thomas C. Ottmar, C.P.A.

Tom has extensive experience in taxation, accounting, and financial consulting with particular emphasis on tax planning for the closely-held businesses and individuals. Tom holds a securities license to provide financial planning solutions. He graduated from the University of North Dakota and began his career in public accounting with a national firm in 1982. Tom joined Olson & Hatcher in 1994.
